FAQs

FAQs about our store and how how we operate.

What exactly is The Red Shed Market?

Our store is categorized as a gift shop. However, we are so much more! Most of what we offer is handmade items. If it's not made by us or our vendors inside our store, we source from fellow small businesses. We offer craft classes, murder mystery nights, craft fairs, and occasionally social media contests. There are 2 of us mamas who run and navigate The Red Shed Market. One of us hand-creates all of our soaps, bath bombs, lotions, soaks, scrubs, waxes, and jellie wax. The other offers affordable boutique clothing and accessories as well as decor items.

How does The Red Shed Market contribute to their community?

We believe in community and working together. We are proud to be a part of the Chesnee Angels and to be home of the Angel Tree at Christmas. This program was born out of love and determination in 2020. Anonymous angels are hung on the tree with a child's size in clothing and an item they are wishing for,  for Christmas. Anyone may pluck an angel from the tree and return it and their donations back to us. We ensure the donations are paired with the child who matches the angel.

Also, our pal Alison collects food and necessities for the local homeless. She uses these items to aid Miss Mary in her weekly trips to visit the homeless. Miss Mary cooks homemade meals weekly and drives to her normal spots to serve people who need a meal, a conversation, and someone who cares.

We are honored to be a drop-off location for donations. If you would like to help either of these programs, can goods and nonperishables would be great! Toys, blankets, socks, etc, would be appreciated at Christmas. Want to help but don't want to shop and bring in things? Grocery store gift cards are appreciated. Miss Mary, Alison, or Chesnee Angels will be able to buy specific items needed! Thank you for helping us be a stepping stone to greater things.

Do you only sell your products online?

We actually have both a physical store and an online shop! Our business is called The Red Shed Market and our address is 1683 Hwy 11 W. Chesnee, SC 29323.

What are your store hours?

We are open Tuesday - Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

How much does shipping cost?

The shipping cost varies depending on the weight and size of your order. We provide a tracking number with every order.

Do you offer layaway or item holds?

Unfortunately, we do not offer layaway at the moment. We are unable to hold items, but we can provide you with a link to purchase the item you don't want to miss out on. Once you have paid for it, we will take it off the sales floor and have it ready for you.

What is your returns/refund policy?

All sales are final for most items, except for some clothing which can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. All sales are final on hand-designed items and graphic tees.

Can I book a spot for a class at The Red Shed Market?

Absolutely! You can book any class that we personally host by clicking on it and adding it to your cart for checkout. Alternatively, you can also come in person to book with us. If the class is hosted by Big Tasty Bakery, you will need to visit her website at www.bigtastybakery.com to make a reservation.

Can you ship items that are not available online?

It depends on the item. Our store features products from local handmade artists, and we want to ensure that these items are not damaged or lost during shipping. However, if you can come and pick up the item, we can send you a link to purchase it and hold it for you until you arrive!

Interested in becoming a vendor?

We're currently booked for vendors inside our store. If you're interested in vending with us for future events, Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for announcements. We always let our followers and customers know the deets as soon as we're ready!
